Ok so I noticed what appears to be petechiae on my right arm and I think I got some on my left arm as well. I know this could be a symptom of infective endocarditis and I am scared to death over it. I just had some dental work done and they say that can cause infection to spread to places such as the heart. can anyone tell me what I can do? I dont have medical insurance.

  • If this is an infection, you really aren't going to get rid of it unless you get some serious antibiotics, which will require a prescription. If you go in soon enough, the total price really shouldn't be more than $60 or $70 to see the doc and get your medicine all together. If you wait though, you could end up in the hospital (which would be even more pricey) or even dead, so you really have to weigh your priorities. I would definitely head to the clinic with these concerns. Best of luck!
