Hello Everyone,
I really need some advise on my high blood pressure, iam 38 yrs old i was diagnosed with high blood pressure about 6 yrs ago, however i did not know i had very high numbers until after i delivered my son 3 yrs ago, it ranges from 147/107 to 171/120 ive seen it drop to a fairly good range about 4 with in that 3 yr range, i have been put on numerous medications and nothing has worked, iam aware that there are lots of blood pressure medications and finding the right one may take awhile. My doctor keep telling me to take lotrel and antenolol, and see if it drops and it has been months since and its still very high, i have palpatations more often, i have decided not to take the meds because they are not working. i have had a ekg, done and it came back ok, i do have migraines often and was put on midraine, and ferocet when ever they strike, but i take a few excedrine migraines and i will be good. My question is should i be telling my doctor to run more test or just wait this out until she finds the right medications for me, iam not over weight, i do smoke 4 to 5 cigs a day.i dont not drink and i excersise 5 days a week for an hour each time. Does anyone have any advice for me? Please someone help me!!!
