I have been feeling dizziness and shaking symptoms, could this be because of high blood pressure?Hi,You say that you feel dizzy, is this when you stand up from sitting or laying or are there other triggers. High blood pressure by itself does not often cause symptoms unless it is very high. Have you taken your blood pressure, are you on any meds?Ian

  • I get dizzy when I stand up from sitting and laying. I am not taking any medication. It sounds like it may be worth considering Postural hypotension. This is when you change from a sitting or lying potion and the blood pressure does not maintain the correct blood supply. Normally as we stand up there is an automatic effect that adjusts our blood pressure to maintain supply to things like the brain. It is worth checking this with your doc, there are a few causes that make this happen, and your PCD will be able to address them.Ian

  • I heard that a diet high in sodium and low in potassium can cause high blood pressure, so cutting down on salt and eating foods high in potassium could help control or even reverse this disease.I learned this at a good little site i foundhttp://highbloodpressure.celebrityvolcano.com/Check it out!!
