I've had a rapid heartbeat sometimes for at least the last 10 years and was told by my doctor it was "nothing". I started getting heart palpitations recently and after doing some research realized that I had many of the symptoms of Magnesium Deficiency. I started taking 400Mg of Magnesium Citrate every day and was very happy to find my heart beat staying normal and after 6 weeks the palpitations went away completely. I had stopped taking my Multivitamin at this time since I didn't want the Calcium until the deficiency was corrected. Now after a month or 2 of no palpitations, they've returned with a vegeance and I'm wondering if that means I need to up my Magnesium again or if this is an affect of not taking my Multivitamin w/ 400 MG of Calcium. I eat yogurt 4 times a week and love dairy so I'm kinda doubtful I'm deficient in Calcium, but I want to get the balance right so these palpitations stay away!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
