I am 18 year old male and
I been having heart/chest pain for about a week now and it's getting worse
I went to see a doctor couple days ago and he said it's nothing major and it was just my rib contraction or something and said it would get better within a week or two.
The thing is it's getting worse and yesterday I couldn't sleep because of the pain
and right now it's hurting real bad
I know that I'm still young and nothing major such as heart attack is likely but the pain is really bad
When I went to emergency they took a x-ray, did blood test, EKG and they said it's nothing serious
The funny thing is that the doctor said that this symptom only occurs if I do cocaine which is crazy because I never even seen one in my life
so help what so i do

  • If you are really worried about it you can have your Doctor reference a cardiologist for you to do a cardiac stress test and if he/she found anything there he/she would do an Echo test. I would tell you though that I would think that 99.99999% for sure your chest pain is related to anxiety. Anxiety can absolutely cause chest pain, what people don't realize is when they get stressed and anxious they start to breath slightly faster.
