Heart and Left Arm

recently, I have noticed, especially after eating food, my left arm begins to feel very tense on the inside. not really pain, but just a tense feeling that runs from my shoulder/armpit, down to the joint, and down to my hand and middle finger.

Also, my heart is beginning to beat at unusual rates.
im not sure if this is anxiety, stress from school, or if it is a heart condition that i should get checked out. it is a bit scary, because i know that this is something connected to my heart, seeing as it is a main vein coming from my heart to my left arm.

if anyone knows anything, or can help, please leave some information. This feeling is fairly new to me, about a week or two, and im not sure how problematic it is.
