Hi, I am 32 now and when I was 4 years I had an Aorta coarctation, and surgery. About a month and a half ago I noticed one of my toes was turning a purplish color, and within a few days all of my toes started turning dark purple and almost black. It doesn't only happen when i'm cold and it happens quiet often. A week or so ago I noticed that I have white bloches all over my body. Today my feet have turned bright red and are burning hot. This has never happened before. Earlier today the were turning black and blue. Another thing that I didn't think was a big deal and still may not be is that most of the time when I wake up in the morning my hands are so swollen I can not even bend them. Please tell me what I need to do. I do not have a regular doctor right now.

  • I'm sorry that you are going through all this. I really think you need to find a doctor and get some testing done. Your symptoms can be significant indicators of some kinds of auto-immune issues. Also, check out Reynaud's for your feet. It may not be that, but I know it's one where the hands or feet turn colors. Again, I really think you need some testing by a doctor. I know it gets expensive, but this is your health and really needs to be taken seriously. There are good docs out there-- I have a great one.
