Hi, I'm a 19 year old male who's been diabetic for 3 years and has had hyperthyroidism for 2 years. I recently had endoscopic sinus surgery about 2 and a half weeks ago for a sever sinus infection I had for around 6 months. Sine the surgery, I had general shortness of breath when moving around. But, starting about 3 days ago, I began general discomfort around my heart. It continues to get worse each day.
Now, I am having intermittent pain/tightness around my heart and my chest. I feel like I'm constantly out of breath now. I feel like I'm not getting enough Oxygen and I have to gasp for air. My heart also suddenly and randomly will start beating very fast and hard and then I have the pain and have to breathe heavily. I'm also getting random headaches but not sure if this is relevant. These problems also seem to get worse when I am in a resting state. Just sitting here is making it happen and lying down makes it worse as I couldn't sleep until 4am last night because of the random heart beats, pain and no air.
I went to the doctor today and had a chest X-ray and EKG done but they both came back positive and they sent me home. If I'm all normal then why would I feel so bad? I'm getting worried and wonder what I should do if this continues to get worse?
