I am only 21 years old and have had High Blood Pressure for 7 years now. When I was first diagnosed with it, I was in the hosptial for a week to get it under control. I was on three different medications. A couple months ago I have started having chest pains, and palpitations, been to the ER twice, they kept me over night, all the chest x-rays, echo, stress test, ekg...all came back normal. My blood pressure is again back up, and I am now on four different blood pressure medications. My doctor thought that the chest pains might be something to do with acid relux, but that medication has not helped out at all. Along with the high blood pressure, I also have very low potassium and have to take four pills a day for that, and I also have a heart mumur, but isnt a one that causes problems, or at least they say so. I am always tired, and I usually get a mirane a day. I have also recently starting having sweats at night. Its been 7 years since I have been tested for why I have high blood pressure, is there a reason why it would be up again and why I am having these chest pains and palpitations. I am so young. I wasnt sure if maybe something didnt show up 7 years ago, but is now starting to kreep up to now, and is now causing a problem.
