Does anyone know of any doctors familiar or experienced with this disease. Preferably on the east coast of the United States. I am a 40 year old male. I went to hospital mid June for some issues in my toe. I was diagnosed with blockages in the femoral artery of the left leg. They did a femoral bypass on the artery on the 24 th of June. I have been back to vascular surgeon twice post op. neither time have I seen the vascular surgeon who diagnosed me. The nurse practitioner says everything looks good. I am still experiencing alot of pain and have this red discoloration to the leg when not in a resting position. The discomfort I am feeling is that of a burning sensation in and around the lower leg. My questions at the office are answered with very "grey" responses. I have been online trying to educate myself as to what I can expect for the future of having this surgery. I ran across the buerger's disease and the more I read I feel that I fit all the criteria and symptoms of this. Unfortunately I cannot find anyone who even remotely claims to have experience with this in the United States. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks for your timeReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
