I am being treated for high BP. When I take my pressure at home before a doc. appt. the numbers I get are always fairly good due to the meds that I take. When I get to the office my BP is sky high with a very high heart rate. I do have anxiety and I know that this is a factor. My question is, what numbers do you have to get to, to be in danger of stroke or heart attack. I will admit that when I go to the doc. I am always afraid of hearing bad news.

Thanks for your answers.
