Unsure fat necrosis or DCIS

Hi there,
This might be a long post. I was diagnosed with dcis in my left breast 2 months ago and had a lumpectomy done to remove 2 tumors sized 5.5cm and 2.5cm. The histology report shows clear margins. But recently the mammogram performed on the same breast shows micro calsifications near the site of excision. It is about 2cm. My surgeon wants to do a reexcision or even recommended mastectomy as she fears that it might not be fat necrosis but due to my extensive dcis which was not removed in the previous surgery. I am not sure what to do next. If possible a mastectomy would be my last option.Would a biopsy on the tumor be accurate? I would appreciate if anybody in the same situation can advise. Thanks a lot.
