My son just turned 4 years old. he has had a very swollen lynthnode on the right side of his neck only for 2 months now. He hasn't been sick at all in at least 6 months. I took him to the dr as soon as i found it. They said to keep an eye on it. I took him back 2 weeks later and they decided to do a blood test. levels were elevated but his red and white blood cells were normal, so they said i shouldn't worry just continue to watch it. Well here it is 2 months later and it still isn't gone, so I took him to an ENT Dr. He ordered a sonograhm to be done. They don't want to do anything invasive because he is so young and it isn't bothering him. We.ll we went for the sonograhm and the way it looked wasn't good. I couldn't even count all the swollen glands on the right side and they were all more then double what they should be. The dr didn't order it but the tech said it would be a good idea to check the back of his neck and head. I said sure what could it hurt. We found even more. I am now very concerned. We have another apointment in a week. I'm pretty sure biopsy is gonna be the next step. Please pray for my son. I will update after his next apointment.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
