Well maybe a month ago I noticed these bumps on my tongue.. And I never made it to a doctor.. And then later I noticed these white bumps in my throat.. There are a few of them that I can see if I open my mouth.. I went to the doctor and he said it looked like I had a little infection.. So he put me on Antibiotics for 10 days.. Im on my 7th day and I notice my tongue is a little better.. But the bumps in my throat are still the same size.. And, I feel a lymph node on the right side of my neck.. It doesn't really feel like it's any bigger than the one on the left side of my neck.. But, if I run my fingers over the right side of my neck.. I feel this hard bump.. And the other side I don't feel that one.. I have smoked for 3 years and Im 19 and it worries me quite a bit.. Everyone thinks Im crazy.. My brother was thinking that aswell.. He said people smoke for 20 years at 2 packs a day and just devleoping throat cancer.. My family has really know history of cancer except for a great aunt who got it in he 70s.. But, it scares me deeply and I lose quite a good bit of sleep over it..

  • What you're describing sounds like nothing more than perhaps a bacterial infection, and you should stop worrying. However, if you're still concerned, please see a doctor about it. not to mention, lymph nodes can take several weeks to go down.
