Im a 26 yr old female. when i was about 19 i went to see a doctor about a swollen lymph node in the right back side of my neck i had had since i was about 16. It feels very hard, and it swells up on and off since then. but my doctor said to be concerned only if it got larger. almost 4wks ago i woke up to a very painful lymph node swollen right above it. about a week later the old one began to swell alot as well. i talked to a friend of mine whos a nurse and he said not to be tooconcerned unless the swelling didnt decrease. i have no signs of infection. well the swelling on the new one has decreased but still swells up a little here and there. the old one still hurts a little and swells off and on. and now for 2 days ive had a swollen right tonsil. ive heard that is a lymph node too. but i dont feel sick. should i be concerned? i havent gone to a doctor only because i dont have health insurance at the moment.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
