My right lymph node just above my collarbone is swollen. I had a strep infection about 2 weeks ago but this has been swollen for about 3. My doctor just said it was because the strep infection was more severe on the right side (I had gone a week without medicines and was fighting the infection off myself). But he prescribed antibiotics and it's been a few days and it's still a little swollen. There's no pain and no swelling elsewhere and I'm healthy otherwise. I'm an occasional smoker but the doctor didn't say it was because of smoking. I'm 19 and cancer doesn't run in my family, other than my great great grandma who had jaw and breast cancer (it spread). I'm energetic, no other swelling anywhere, and worried as all ***l. Do I need a xray or scan??Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
