Hello, I have recently been to see a specialist concerning a purple/red growth I have had near my ear for a few months that I have been worried was cancerous. The specialist seems to think it is a cyst and I am due to have it removed. However, I have noticed the lymph node near the growth is enlarged and I have been experiencing nausea and short breathness.
I would therefore be very grateful if someone could tell me - would a cyst cause a swollen lymph node or does this imply that the growth could be cancerous after all?
Thanks for your help.
