I have a friend with cancer of the sinus that has spred to the eye and back of the throat. I understand that the surgery is quite extensive and disfiguring. She is in stage 4 and is trying to determine whether surgery will be the best thing. What is the death and mortality rate for this type of cancer. She needs help in making a disision. Thanks, Deb

  • Stage 4 is pretty advanced. Surgery may be her best chance of survival. How old is she?
