Does anyone know if it is true that you get a certain body odour with some cancers? I've read this somewhere. I'm 37 and have developed a sweet musky odour, it seems hormonal and as it is new, it worries me- but can find nothing on the web.

Any thoughts welcome

  • There can be many reasons for a change in body odor, everything from new food choices to diseases. The best place to start would be a basic diagnostic blood test to check for any clear abnormalities causing it, such as diabetes.
