In 2004 my sister ,Tracey ,was diagnosed with uterine cancer. She had a full hysterectomy done and while the doctors were in there, they found cancer wrapped around her siatic nerve and her colon. They removed as much as they could and started her on chemo. The doctors then found Tracey had cancerous tumor on her lungs and one on her brain. They started radiation and a blood cleaning procedure.Tracey's body began to fight off the chemo and the radiation and she was first diagnosed with some type of Barre Syndrome and then later diagnosed with Paraneo Plastic Syndrome.Traceys fight only lasted 2 1/2 months before the Lord took her home.
Is there enough information on Paraneo Plastic Syndrome for the Doctors to correctly diagnose and treat this syndrome?
Has anyone ever come back to full functuallity with this syndrome?
