Lump between groin and leg

I am a 23-year-old male with a small, hard lump, about 1cm in diameter, to the right of my scrotum, directly where my groin and right leg meet. It is not inside the scrotum or on the leg, but between the two. It seems to be attached to the skin. There is no redness or other discoloration, and does not hurt when touched. Any advice?

  • what you are describing sounds like a common cyst.if it is attahed to the skin and not under it i would not worry.leave it well alone and forget about it.if you are worried go to the docter.it could also be a lymph node but the discription of being attached to the skin makes that unlikely.i have a simalar lump that i know is not cyst (i have had many of those as i am prone to them) but is about 15mm in diamater rock hard ,painless and does not move around.this is of slightly more concern but will probably still turn out to be a cyst.if you are having illness aswell go and see the docter,Joel.
