years ago, i went to donate blood. A few months after i did that i received a letter from the blood bank saying that htlv1 was detected in my blood and that i could not give any more donations. I went to my doctor at the time to find out what this was. He said that it wasn't any cause for concern as only 1% of people infected actually become sick. He also said there wasn't any way to know if i was actually infected or just exposed (don't really understand the difference but apparantly there is). Now, 4 years later, i have just been diagnosed with hodgkin's lymphoma. Is this related? Does anyone else know anything about this disease? I have tried searching several places on the web but they all have very little information. I am confused and scared all at once. help!!Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
