  • Hi Diane, I have been told that I have a growth on my joint nearest the top of my thumb. It started to swell over three day period and i am in agony. Can't touch it,move it absolute acute pain.Had it for a week now. After three trips to hospital, blood test ruled out infection.Xray results show a lump proud of the joint. They have called it a calcification. I have to have a MIR scan and a bone scan with the dye.Did you have any of these symptons. Thanks Kas
