someone help me please, this is really starting to worry me. ok, my breasts are verry painful, mostly toward the outside on the side of the body. they are rather thick where the pain is. i cant hug people, my daughter can lay on my chest, i cant wear a bra at times, sometimes when i do wear a bra, my nipples hurt. i know this is not pregnancy and it is not my period. i am absolutly terrified to go get it checked plus my doctor is a complete *****d. please try and answer my question, also i have a very irregular period, and i am not on birth control, i am only 19 years old. i would really like an opinion, thanks very much.

  • Don't mess around with your health, go to new DR. right away and please read up on inflammatory breast cancer, that's where ther is no lumps but pain coupled with other breast changes. If breast cancer is found earliy enough one will survive. Blessings!

  • I agree with Fae Rae - Don't mess around! My Mom had Breast cancer and she went to the Doctor as soon as she felt the lump they did the mammogram and ultrasound then the biopsy. She caught it before it spread so she only needed the lump removed and a small corner of her breast along with a couple of lymphnodes - if she would have waited though it would have been worse! If you feel something is wrong then you should see a Doctor - you know your body! Take care, Monique :)

  • Don't worry it is most likely a hormonal thing especially since your periods aren't regular. If you are not happy with your Dr. find a new Gynecologist and get a pap and breast exam pronto. By the way every few months I have the same problem but I read somewhere that eating soy would help and I must admit it has.

  • In all likelihood it is hormonal, but I have to agree with everyone else--don't flirt with your health. Get a mammogram or an ultrasound as soon as you can.
