  • my husband has cup, with malignant ascites, they put him on chemo. How long have you been diagnosed with cup? There is a company in Amsterdam, on internet www.cupprint.com, I think that says they can find the primary site of cup through dna in the majority of cases.

  • My husband also has malignant ascites with cup. He was bedridden, had to use a wheel chair, could not walk, barely eat, and was on oxygen. Since starting his palliative chemo, he can walk, eat, is no longer bedridden, and is off oxygen. Although it is a cup, he is being treated as a colon ca. He has undifferentiated adenocarcinoma. His fourth session of chemo seems to have left him more fatigued and again he is losing his appetite. He has lost about 50 pounds and was already thin. He is constantly fatigued and has difficulty sleeping, probably because he takes lengthy naps during the day.
