Bleeding Nipples no other symptoms

I noticed the other day blood on the outside of my clothes, just beneath my right breast... I investigated and discovered that the blood came from my nipple so I took a shower and a bubble bath...... I bled into my bath so I took a breast pump and extracted as much blood that would bleed (about 1/8 c). That seemed to do the trick. then a couple days later the bleeding started up again... so I google searched it and I discovered the reasons for bleeding nipples; It tells me to go see my Doctor, I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't have insurance thus I don't have a Doctor..... Thus I must go down the check list to pin point what it may be.... I don't have any lumps or swelling or redness. Thus I conclude that it must be an infection.... but I don't have a fever or any discomfort anywhere. so now I'm being told to wait and see what symptoms appear.... I would like to see a doctor to see if it is an early sign of Breast Cancer (I am over 40, have had a child, over-eat,and my mother had breast cancer and survived).... or is it simply an infection. But I cannot afford to... and that is my haunting concern today I guess I needed to share

  • Dear Jessica, I am sorry to tell you but it happened the same thing to me and I had cancer. I recently had a double mastectomy and lymph node dissection. YOU HAVE TO GO AMD SEE A DOCTOR. If you dont have insurance ask at the hospital for a social worker amd she will help you, don't wait, please.Good luck and whatever you need to do, do it.
