Four years ago I detected little spots of blood on my pjs. I went to the Dr and tryed to have a test done in the ducts but could not tell which duct because it never bleed at that time. I had 2 MRI 6 months apart and numerous Mamograms and sonograms of my breasts. Now I just have a very small pink spot on my nipple with sometimes a little flake of skin. This is still a mystery to this day. Would Pagets react this way?

  • Hi Jackienak. I, too, have the same type of symptoms you mentioned. I realized there was a small amount of blood on my left nipple about two years ago. I freaked out and immediately went to a small womens clinic and was told I had a small cyst underneath that same nipple and was told to go to the larger hospital. They ran the breast MRI as well as the sonogram and even took a needle biopsy. But nothing...they said it wasn't cancer but they could never really tell me why this was happening. I was told to come back every six months to do a sonogram, to monitor any changes. Well, for the first year in a half, I was bleeding on and off - maybe 2-3 times a month or so...but now it's more like every day and it really scares me. This can't be normal and I just understand why no one has been able to give me an explanation. I already went to three more different places to get checked up and they all said it wasn't cancer, but again, no explanation. I will be going to another doctor the end of this month to see what she says. I am hoping I get some REAL answers this time. It's good to know that I am not alone. Please do share if you have found out anything new with your condition. I would love to hear from you!!! Thank you and take care.
