wrong symptoms, but inside head

This is my first visit here. Having found it while searching for a better understanding of TIA symptoms. I suppose I am wondering whether anyone could tell me more exactly what my symptoms might point to as my doctor thus far does not seem to take it seriously. Apparently, my symptoms do not directly point to a standard TIA. I have very short ticks of unconsciousness (I suppose) in which I feel like my head was sort of physically viced or held in a elasticated position. When I come-to no noticeable time has gone by, but I realize that I have been made non-responsive for a split second. I recently heard a couple or radio pieces on something similar to this being tied to Alzheimer's and memory loss so I have decided to investigate. Any directional information or advice would be greatly appreciated.
