woke up and had hallucination?

On the 27th December, I woke up after having a dream about a small ball sized ufo in my parents garden that attacked me and made me very very dizzy. I woke up, looked up at the corner of the bedroom, and noticed a large almost transparent house spider walk up the corner of the wall then seem to dissapear (not sure if went behind curtain). Then I noticed the wall and ceiling were moving as if breathing. I was fasinated and then scared.
After a minute, everything was still again and the spider was nowhere to be seen.

Did I wake up after a disturbing dream and have an hallucination? I still felt slightly dizzy even after waking up.

Thanks.

Mike.

  • this is likely to have been a hypnagogic experience.look it up.it is quite normal.it might be better not to think too much about u.f.o.s and spiders.

  • Every now and then when I'm sleeping or trying to sleep I hear a loud Slamming like a door being slammed and I jump up. It's so loud how can no one else hear it. Everytime I ask my mother if she heard it and she says she didn't hear anything. But I hear it, and sometimes I hear doors locking it hurts it's so loud. I don't understand it, it's so loud like my ear should be bleeding right now it's so loud... What's wrong with me?

  • lonelylovex, I read your post and I completely have the same problem. I'll be just about to fall asleep and then all of a sudden i'll hear the door slam or someone shut a door REALLY loud and then right after i'll hear like high heel shoes walking down the hall.. It sounds so real and at first i just thought it was my mom or something, but then it kept happening, the exact same noises all in the same way. Its scary cause its so loud i jump upthose door slamming episodes only lasted for abouit a week about two months ago, nowadays i have dreams that feel so real and sound so real and i feel like i am stuck in them. But when i finally wake up i am all dizzy and the walls are just shifting kind of. Like i cant see them straight at all..just today i was about to have nap and was almost asleep when i started to feel a pressure being pushed down on my foot and it started to tingle, then all of a sudden the pressure was on my stomache/abdomen and a deep low voice started making a weird low groan noise in my right ear and so i tried to move and then got out of it, and the voice cut short cause i moved. then i looked at the walls and they were shifting again just slightly like i was dizzy. So that episode made me look on the internet for this type of thing..I have had i think 7 episodes like that one above but everyone is a bit different. They all started in August the day i overdosed on mushrooms. I relaly think that night has permanently messed me up and i regret it soo badly. That night i saw things unimaginable, it was liek i was on acid, i looked in the mirror and saw spiders coming frum my eyelashes, my mom was the grudge chick of the scary movie, i kept hearing this creepy clicking noise and i kept feeliing like my moms bf wanted to rape me, i thought i was dead, i also saw friends that werent even there and i saw like my grandmother and nana who have died. I'm really scared because i dont want to have schitzophrenia, my dad has it and apparenltly i have a 10% more of a chance to get it..... also i am only 16 :( :( and i dont want to tell my mom about it cause idont want to be "branded" as a schitzo .. i dont knokw what to do. all i know is that the noises and dreams i am hearing/having are okayyy like i can handle them kinda but i will defintly NOT be able to handle seeing things in real life. especialy if they are horror type of things..

  • I had a similar experience as a young adult, the one thing that got me to feel normal again was seeking to be closer to God, you may still struggle (I do) but it does get better over time if you build your faith. Have faith in *****t and you will find peace.

  • I'm kinda releived now I've read this because, every so often when i'm asleep I'll wake up and see soemthing near me. The earliest i can remember was when I was about ten and I saw like a skelenton crawling towards me, it freaked me out like ***l but then it just went away and i calmed down.I didn't have anymore for ages but then when mt boyfriend was sleeping over, i woke up seeing a skelenton hovering over my face. I screamed at him to get awy, then he siad he was on the floor (where he was sleeping) and it went away.I suffered from other attacks but i put them down to my medication that one of the side effects is hallucinations, but then i realized id had attacks when i hadn't been tacking them. The only other things i've had was as i crosed a road i heard growling, like a dog was right next to me. I ran across the road and then heard a car pass, but cars don't sound like dogs.I'm so glad i found this site, because i was starting to worry. I'm also glad mine are short and i don't get them often, i hope you guys get what your looking for :)

  • Ill lay in my bed, concentrate on my breathing and trying to clear my head of any thoughts. Not sure if you can call this meditating.. but whatever. Then i can hear a ringing sound building up, and i know i will be falling asleep. And when i hear the loud slam, i know i can expect an interesting night.I think it was David Wilcock, that once describe the loud "doorslam" noice as your pineapple gland activating. This usually goes with first ,hearing a loud ringing sound in your ear for a few moments.Ive also seen the spider. The first time he appeared, was when i was having a dream.. and all of this sudden a fly flew on my lips, and i tried to blow it of.. and then i woke up, seeing the spider sitting on my pillow right next to my mouth. I jumped up, and tried to get away.. i was scared, and it dissapeared. And i actually said outloud, that he realy scared me :-)Next couple of times when i saw him, he was crawling across the wall wich is furthest away from my bed and mouth :-). It seems like the moment you stand up and get out of bed it will dissapear. But if i keep calm and simply watch it from my bed it stays around for upto 30 seconds.I might be trippin, but it seems to me.. that he is fully aware of you.The spider is translucent. It emits little light particals with a brown/yellowish tint, making him easy to spot in my dark bedroom. Its about as big as my hand.I honestly dont know, an answer to this. My intention is to share my experience wich seem similair to yours. On the side note. I dont do Drugs, Alcohol, Regular Medicines or Soft Drinks. And ive never been diagnosed with any mental illness.Too be honest, i dont see it as a sleeping disorder or any 'tag" you want too give it.Its simply an experience your having, should try learn from it.Dont be afraid. ;-)
