I am a 33 year old women who is having the following symptoms, I feel this vibrating sensation on the left side of my head, it comes and goes throughout the day, some time I put pressure with my hand to stop the vibration. I though that I was going crazy, I did not know how many people are suffering from this condition. I also have pain and numbness on my hand and feet and my mouth hurts a lot. I also have a limp node (left side) that is always swollen and my neck hurts on the left side. It seems as if all my symptoms are worse on the left side of my body, I also feel the vibration inside my abdomens and my legs. I have gone to many doctor and no one know what this is, the look at me like if I was crazy or making things up. I have lost hope. Last week I went to see my doctor because the burning inside my mouth was killing me, my teeth also hurt as well as my hard palate, my lips are dry and they cut and bleed all the time. My doctor just told me to go an see a dermatologies I call to make the aptm and they told me that I needed to see a ENT because my symptoms were inside the mouth, I call the ENT and they said that I needed to see my family doctor. I told them that I have seen my doctor and the dentist and there is nothing wrong with my teeth. I really do not know what to do, I don't know what doctor to see for this pain that is killing me. As I type this message I have 3 cubes of ice inside my mouth to calm the pain and to stop it from getting more swollen inside.

If any one has any ideas.....please help! I have two beautifully daughters that I want to raise in good health!....I must confess that sometimes I just feel like ending my life....it has been 3 long years with all this symptoms and I am so tire of trying, I am tire of the looks that the doctors give me when I tell them my symptoms.......I know I am not crazy, I am not making things up.....I just want to feel healthy, and happy. I am sorry....I just feel so despair to find the cure to my heath problems.
I just wish you all to find the cure to what ever your health problem.

  • First, whoa whoa on ending your life. You have given one of the most bestest reasons for staying around--your girls. Has anyone looked for a sinus infection yet. The lymp node is telling hey there is an infection somewhere in the region. Yoohoo. Look at meeee....... So let us see. And it sounds like your currrent ENT needs a good swift kick. Did they take any xrays, mri, catscan of your head? Any swabs of your sinuses, mouth or throat? If they did not, I would bite them. But don't, I am severely agressive. You sound so much like me. I do have chronic sinus infections on my left side and when they flare up bad, the lymp nodes swell, the jaw hurts, the eye hurts, my ear rings bad -- so bad can be distracting, neck hurts, tongue swells, teeth and the skin around in mouth hurts. Now on another posting I wrote about what an ENT told me to do to take ownership of my own sinus infections because antibiotics should not be used. They are usually viral or fungal. Let me see if I can find my posting and get back to you. Hang in there sweetie. There is reason to live. I have been where you are. I envy you. You have children. I lost mine. Let's get you fixed. Life is well worth it.... Here is what I suggested to someone else. You can think I am crazy. I did work for me about 15 years ago. I have an infection I am flushing now, I have the rining, swelling, pain, headaches, etc. swollen lymp nodes, swollen TMJ, etc. TicKs me off, I was feeling great till this came along. am not going to proport to have a curall. You have three children that can cause fatigue :),I thought I had gone to cruel and heartless ENT when he told me to do the following. Since sinus cavities don't have many blood vessels getting to them and it is hard to get medications up in them it takes time to get rid of one that thinks it has found a neat home.1. First either find you one of those facial steamers if you want to be fancy. use and breath in to open sinuses. Or boil water in pan. Take off burner, Sit with towel over head and pan and breath in steam from heated water to open sinuses.2. Flush sinus with salt water. He told me 1 teaspoon of salt with each cup of water. Now when first started, sinuses it was so raw, I had to back down. The easiest way to flush sinuses you won't believe. Buy a WaterPik. Do NOT buy any sonic any thing. you are not out to blow your eyeballs or brains out. Fill reservoir with the warm salt water. Turn the setting to the LOWEST, NEVER HIGHER setting, put into nose and work tip into sinus cavity, flush sinuses. Yes you will not believe what will come out when you do both sides. I have also used one of those neti things from health food store. Did not do as well. Have been using the WaterPik system for over 15 years and gone through four of the.3. As the doctor said, which I thought was cruel. It took about six weeks to get ahold of the problem. But, once I got rid of the problem. I do maintenance care, and don't have recurring sinus infections any more --which can set in anytime you use antibiotics. Yeastie beasties always like warm dark places.4. Before I did this, I had been going to doctors for 5 years trying to fix my head swelling on the left side, along with headaches and pain. Getting rid of the fungal stuff helped the body heal.5. Since your body may be stressed out candida, may want to look at a anti candida diet for a while. I don't remember it off the top of my head right now. You may want to ask doctor about nistantin. Google and use wronge diagnosis to read about candida, fungal and sinus infections and body aches.I wish you the best of luck and hope that it is this simple and nothing more serious. I know the waterpik sounds crazy. I thought the ENT had lost his ever lovin mind. But it worked. And no body had ever been able to get rid of my sinus infections. He told me he was putting ownership of the problem back in my hands. I did not need to keep seeing him. He had more serious problems to focus on. Go figure, an honest caring doctor -- heck he was doing more surgeries. :p

  • Thank you so much Abbydoodle for your suggestions, I have an apt with the ENT doctor next week, Iam going to ask for a MRI of the head and neck. My family doctor is not good, she keeps ignoring the fact that my limp node is always swollen, she did a blood test that was a little bit up on my wbc, but she said it was nothing. You are right I have and do think of my baby's all the time, is just that some times I just feel so sick. I will follow your advise and do what you have been doing with the waterpik. I remember that back in high school I was suffering from sinuous infection and my mom heated water with eucalyptus and I breath the steam...It did work. thank you so much for your words, I really appreciate them.

  • Keep me posted, I did my wash out last night and nothing came out. My ear is ringing and everything is swollen. But previously I really had some nasties rinse out. And the left side is always congested and can't breathe through. Giving me a bad headache today. Stayed up too late last night. Will hope for you that it is this simple. Just remember that they never really could see the infection with the MRI and catscan --except for thicking of sinus walls. It was not until one doctor ran a scope up my sinuses did he really find the nasties. The color was the same as a Reeses peanut butter cup. The infection was in spenoid and very hard to get at. So keep up with the water pic. Takes 6 to 8 weeks. Remember either viral or yeastie beastie. If you have high candida content in body, may consider low yeast diet to get rid of this animal. Let me know what goes. I really care....The doodle bug.

  • Keep Pushin' - It will Pass. That's what I always tell myself to get through another day.:confused:I've been very ill for some time now and doctor's continue to be just as confused as I am when it comes to my elements sometimes. My autoimmune syndrome (whatever it is ) is just eating away at me.ANYWAY - enough about me. Have you ever heard of the ALCAT Blood Test? Insurance doesn't cover it but it sure does allow you to know exactly what your allergic to. I mean food, chemical, heavy mental, etc... I am severely allergic to yeast - do I fall out NO. But it can put a big damper in your sex life (not that the seizures, headaches, etc... have allowed that):( Rashes, infections, etc.. - I take 2 types of medications just for my yeast problems. I obviously needed to get some things out -sorry. ANYWAY- we are what we eat so it wouldn't hurt u. I think the cost was between $300 -$350 through a Homeopathy doctor. I also have the vibration sensations in my head even in my teeth - it's so weird. I can feel everything moving inside my head - sometimes for me it even goes through my entire body. The sensations never last for more then 60 seconds though. Do you have a swelling, numbness, heat sensations in your head/brain? Do you have any brain lesions?

  • Blaze, As you know I have been investigating down another road. Have met with a very special psychiatrist that counsels patients with liver disorders or diseases. Why? Because the liver diseases or disorders can damage the central nervous system and cause migraines, tremors, seizures, comas, and death; personality disorders, depression, and other strange occurrences such as the brain spinning, vibrations, and auras. My doctor is only 1 of 2 in the US that does this service. She cousels pre and post liver transplant patients also. She is also on a team that assesses potential liver transplant candidates. Our main goal is to go over all my meds and get rid of any that are not "liver friendly", we started switching some over this past week. And just changing the timing of taking some is helping. Already jerks, tremors, head buzzing and such is down. I have a ways to go. I am on a lot and we want to cut the list dramatically. That was my intention for going there -- Get rid of anything I could. I also did not realize that my liver disorder has caused progressive damage and may be a future liver transplant candidate (per liver doctor's records). So doing all this now puts me in a better position in the future. What I have is a urea cycle disorder, not lymes. I won't kick lymes I just think too many doctors use it like fibromyalgia when they don't know what is going on. They diagnosed me with fibromyalgia in 1993. But I told them that was just a symptom. It took me til 2005 to get the right answer. But I can't complain the medicine to treat it had only become available in 2003. My request to her is to get rid of my headaches and migraines that I have 24 hours a day, that and body aches. I am drinking black cherry juice to keep uric acid crystals down ask much as I can (side affect of disorder) and take other medication to take down (ammonia) makes body hurt too. I feel I am on the right step with brain, body, and liver...but now insurance is running out. Nothing ever is right.

  • I know this thread is almost a year old but I was wondering if you ever found out what was causing your symptoms? I'm 31 yrs old with 3 young children and have just about the same exact symptoms. I get pain in my hands and I have pain on mostly the left side of my body. It first started with pain in the left side of my neck and muscle spasms. The muscle spasms went away and the pain in my neck subsided but I've been dealing with mouth pain for months. My mouth gets hot and feels as though it is swollen in the back. It's worse when I start eating or even talking for prolonged periods of time. I feel pressure in my eyes, sometimes ears and weird pressure that moves through the bridge of my nose and cheeks. Lately, I have been getting headaches every day and now I have this pressure/vibrating feeling in my head. I also get the feeling of pressure in my teeth and they ache.I'm really more concerned now that I have this vibrating/shaky feeling inside my head. I've been to an ENT, oral surgeon, neurologist, Gastro doc, GP and have had a number of exams and blood work done which all came back fine. I was told I have a very "minor" TMJ problem. None of the docs have given me a cat scan or MRI because despite me wanting one, they all said afrer each "exam" that I took that they don't see a need for me to have one. All I seem to get for the most part from the docs is that it's probably anxiety related. They wanted to put me on anti-depressant meds but I refused. It bothers me like crazy that no one has been able to tell me what is wrong and why for the last 8 months I have been experiencing these symptoms.I am a 33 year old women who is having the following symptoms, I feel this vibrating sensation on the left side of my head, it comes and goes throughout the day, some time I put pressure with my hand to stop the vibration. • Thanks for the reply. It's so frustrating when you have to go through this pain and don't know why or what you can do about. I saw an optometrist who said my eyes were just "dry and strained" but that's about it. I'm due to go back to my GP this Wednesday and I plan to be more aggressive in making him understand what I'm going through and how annoyed I am that no one can help explain what may be the cause of it. I'll update this thread after my visit.

  • Here's a suggestion ... I had symptoms very similar to yours. I had been doing my own research and discovered that many medical problems today are caused by vitamin deficiencies and then found a wonderful doctor who uses both traditional and alternative approaches in patient treatments. The majority of my symptoms have either disppeared or drastically improved over the last 4 months by taking the following: taking a once a day multivitamin (I recommend Nutrihance by NutriSystem for under $8 for a 60 day supply; sublingual B-12 2000mcg by Perque ; Astra C Jade Screen by Health Concerns; fish oil gels ; magnesium . Also, get a comprehensive blood profile done to show cardiac risk and hormonal levels that will highlight any adrenal / thyroid / pituitary / hypothalmus problem -- which control everything your body does, sleep, wake, digest, process nutrients, your mood, etc. Get more rest and eat a better quality diet without soda, candy, high fructose corn syrup, sugars, processed carbs like breads and pastas, potatoes -- you'll be amazed how much better you will function with the rest, vitamins, and better diet. When you start to feel better you can work in some exercise, which also helps. With all that said, by all means do still get the CAT scans, MRIs, etc. to rule out any other potential causes or contributing factors to your problems.Good luck and be well! Don't lose hope. You can feel normal again.
