(I tried to ask this question earlier as an unregistered user but it didn't show on the boards, so I'm trying again after registering :))
I've been having what seems like a bad bout of food poisoning over the past 4 days, with fevers reaching 39 degrees celcius, nausea, bad diarrhea, and a feeling of being on the verge of vomiting.
Two nights ago while driving to a friend's place and feeling some anxiety about the high fever (39 degrees) I was having at that point, I suddenly felt a jolt or pop in middle of the right hemisphere of my brain. It was like a moment of high pressure in a small area; like a pinching or a clicking feeling. There was no pain or headache or any accompanying symptom anywhere, and I was able to carry on driving per normal.
I'm just wondering if I should be concerned about this, and whether I should get a scan done just in case. Or could the sensation have been due to the anxiety or the fever?
Thanks for the help
