  • A tonic-clonic seizure is sometimes the result of a lesion on the brain common in MS patients. If her doc hasn't already, she should be sent for multiple MRIs and MRAs of the brain and spinal column, as well as a possible lumbar puncture to rule out MS. Good luck.

  • MS only very rarely causes seizures. Burning in the knees is almost certainly not due to the seizures.

  • well ,why would the doctor say it's all in her head if there's physical proof of seizure activity. That don't make sense. Has she had strokes with this?? Is she diabetic???

  • MANY MEDICATIONS CAUSE SEIZURES AS A SIDE EFFECT, AND DOCTORS OFTEN MISS THIS!!! What meds was she on BEFORE she had her seizure? I cannot stress this enough you need to be an informed consumer when it comes to pharmaceuticals. Visit www.drugs.com and type in her meds. Click on drug interaction checker and see if there are interactions, and then look up each drug individually for side effects. Hope this helps.DOM
