Two years ago I noticed I began to lose my balance all the time. There as a twitch in my index finger, my muscle feel weak. I began to stumble while I walk and I would walker slower. I can no longer run and jump, the ability to talk clearly. I was diagnosed with having a conversion disorder. Which means when you suffer from a trauma mentally you can deal so you create physical problems. My last MRI showed cerebellar atrophy but the still said I had a conversion disorder. I need help getting a doctor to consider that I have Ataxia. Need suggestions

  • Have you asked about whether you've ever had encephalitis or been tested for antibodies to NMDAr? My husband was tested for this after a major seizure 3yrs ago (had mobility probs for 12yrs) he was +ve.
