motion blur and tired

It happened about a month ago for the first time, I woke up in the middle of the night and my vision was abnormal. The most noticable thing I had was a kind of motion blur when I waved my hand before my eyes. It left a sort of motion trail, where my hand moved, but a trail or wave of hands where following it. And it wasn't because I was waving around too fast. This reminded me of the Matrix, but it was very scary. When I looked in the mirror my face seemed to be all round and odd as well(but it wasn't). I freaked out, washed my face with cold water and tried to calm down. After a few minutes it was gone. This is happening more frequently now, mostly during the night. A sort of tingling sensation can be felt, some sort of static in my eyes or brain.
Someone told me it is not abnormal to have hallucinations when you just wake up, and your brain is still kind of asleep. But it has never happened to me before that. And lately I have more headaches too, I hope it is just exhaustion/stress or something like that.

I am 24, female, suffering from anxiety disorder and depression (so you can imagine I freak out easily over these kind of things). I am ALWAYS tired, and I have trouble gaining weight.
Should I be worried?
