Just found out today that one of my best friends has been diagnosed with Moyamoya disease. I've read up a little bit I could find about it..... can anyone tell me more... Anyone living with it....:confused:
From what I have read I am quite concerned about her..:(

  • No.... one parent is French/Canadian other TrinidadianThat disease is very rare. I hope it is the wrong diagnosis. Besides, doctors don't know what's the cause of it. If your friend was not born with it- it might not be genetic. So she/he have to look into all alternatives.I read that Reiki helps with Moyamoya. Your friend should look into Reiki.Best.Maribel.

  • Dr.s are thinking now that it was a 'Misdiagnosis".. Possible one of many other things. She just had a brian biopsy a couple of weeks ago. Hope to get some answers soon.
