  • I was working out today on the leg press and I felt this sharp pain in the back of my head too, I was lying on the groud for a good 5 minutes just grabbing the back of my head in pain , I could not do a single exercise after that and I can still feel it throbbing right now almost an hour after it happened. This happened once earlier in the week but the pain went away soon after I stopped the exercise.

  • I hope you have seen a doctor about this a long time ago! If not - get an MRI. I have had sudden pain with exertion (exercise, sneezing, etc.). The MRI showed a Chiari Malformation - the back of my skull does not allow enough room for my brain so part of it is herniated into the area where my spinal cord is located. The increased pressure causes pain. I have had increased symptoms in the last few years and they could progress into permanent damage if not treated (surgery). This is just my situation, but it is a possibility for your symptoms. I hope you have had your problem solved. Good luck. :)
