I have a twenty eight year history of hydrocephalus. My neurosurgeon has informed me, my most recent MRI is showing "Cerebral Malacia". I believe this is also known as "cerebral infarct". He states this is common amongst those of us who have been shunted long term, however, I can find nothing to substantiate his claims. Has anybody else heard of this, and where can I find documentation that would confirm this.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
