  • Hello! My mother was just told that she has the disease. I have two brothers and two sisters. We are all convinced that we have it as well. I am 23 years old and feel like I have symptoms. It is a very stressful situation-- stress which can cause a lot of HD symptoms--- I pray every night that I don't have it. I obsess over every little thing I do that may be HD related. My brother and sister also have children. Life can still be worthwhile. I don't know what's going to happen today-- let alone a year from now or five years from now. My thing is to take it day by day. I recently read that Canadian doctor's have found a cure for HD in rats. This is a very good sign. Maybe it is only a matter of time before they find the cure for us. If anyone who is at risk and has been experiencing some of these things-- please let me know. Thanks.
