My son had surgery at the age of 2 1/2. I am so grateful that he had the surgery because he can now talk in sentences, ask me questions. However he is now 4 1/2 years old, he is mentally at a 2 1/2 3 year old. My son Matt is in special classes to help him. His twin is at age level and is in preschool. Has anybody out there know if they will soon become normal or will he always be slower than his twin...
