I am curious about this. I have had migraines and daily headaches since 1987,back then I had a CaT scan.(normal)I have had mutiple Drs. and ,medication. No preventive meds. work,so I just use abortives. Fast forward to 2003 when I had another MRI(neck/head). Drs. said everythign was normal, but when I decided to get my medical records and read them myself....it said I had 4-5 brain lesions. But it is normal for a migraineuer to have brain lesions. I had more than the normal amount for a (migraine)person my age.
I asked my Dr. and also the neurologist about what this meant. NOONE knew. Will I get more lesions as I get older? Will my brain fail more than it already is?(I also have fibromyalgia and am in a fog a lot)
I really woudl like to know if there is something I can do for my brain. Did I only get the lesions BEFORE I actually found a medication that worked pretty good?
