Hi. I was diagnosed with PTC when I was 19 and a Sophomore in college. I wasn't overweight, or pregnant. I had an allergic reaction to Minocycline. This was August of 2005. It was the hardest battle I have ever been through. I stayed in college full time and had doctor appointments between classes. I am now 23 and in my second year of Graduate School. Over the past few years I have noticed that I can't concentrate, I have worse depression, and I seem to have ADHD. My advisor is getting on my case saying I am just lazy and not paying attention to my thesis writing, but I am. He knows I had PTC but is convinced that I am over-exaggerating and using my past illness as an excuse. I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed differences in attention or mood since having PTC. Knowing that someone else is noticing these changes will help me to know that it is not just something I am making up.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
