For about a year I have had pain and stiffness in my upper back and neck region. An MRI on my neck in May 2006 showed nothing, so my symptoms were downplayed and I was sent through therapy and pain management. Nothing helped and the pain progressed. I began having confusion, memory loss, loss of balance, dementia, slurred speech, numbing of the face, tingling in every part of my body, burning sensations in my chest and back, tingling on my scalp, raise in blood pressure, constant muscle spasms in my back and torso, and blurred vision, and the pain has is now unbearable. I demanded to be sent to a neurologist who did an MRI last Tuesday on my brain and some bloodwork. I was called back on Thursday to do a contrast MRI being informed that they found an arachnoid cyst on the right parietal brain region measuring 1.5 cm X 3.5 cm X 2 cm. The neurologist told me that the cyst is really no big deal and it was not the cause of my other symptoms. My blood tests came back good, except my B vitamin levels were very low.(B vitemans support the nervous system). He is not planning to go any further with the issue, but I feel that these symptoms I am having are due to the cyst. Expecially since everthing else came back clear. I am a 31 year old female and is on a high regimin of pain pills and muscle relaxers that are not working anymore. What should I do?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
