I have a problem with weak bones but it doesn't seem to be rickets or osteomalacia and I can't seem to find what it is. It started out with the smaller, weaker bones in the fingers, where the bone connectors allowed them to bend(sorry I don't know the technical term),then it hit a rib or two a little. I figured that it was all the pop I was drinking and my not drinking milk & eating healthy so I changed my diet and that stopped it for awhile. Then I went off the wagon & drank about 9 cans of pop a day for 10 days and it got really, really bad.
Anyway,I haven't been able to stop the weakness and the bending of the bones since. They are weak and flexible and the greatest danger lies in the bones that I put the most pressure on for the most amount of time.
The pelvic area and buttocks are especially bent, due to this condition! The doctors I've seen know nothing. Does anyone have any idea?
Thank you very,very much!
