  • My daughter was diagnosed when she was four. We only found out by accident after a visit to the dentist.she had to have many of her baby teeth removed and went for tests at the hospital.we had blood tests too and that is how they found out that my husband had passed the gene on even though he didn't have symptoms himself.my daughter is eleven now and has had no other problems yet.we keep an eye on her teeth as the are much thinner and weaker than normal and sometimes her knees may hurt but that could be down to growing pains.she is very active and sporty.
