I am an ovarian cancer survivor (8 years so far) and just found out that I have osteoporosis probably caused by the chemotherapy. Had a bone marrow biopsy to rule out bone cancer so that I am a candidate for Forteo or Zometa (Zoledronic acid). Looking up the side effects is pretty scary. Has anyone done either one of these with good results? Anyone who used them 5 to 10 more years ago with no negative side effects?
