It's a conumdrum. I'm suppose to take calcium to protect myself from bone deterioration (osteopenia) but when I drink milk or take calcium, in any form, my hot flashes return (post-menopausal). I also have hypothyroidism and had calcium-based kidnery stones about 15 years ago. So, what is the answer for my body?
