:( I am having trouble finding any information about tumors on the spleen. If anyone could help, I would appreciate it very much.
My mother was told she has a 9mm tumor on her spleen and they can not seem to figure out what it is. They have decided to take out her spleen if it grows or leave it in if it does not. If anyone can help?
thank you

  • What is the medical plan regarding your tumor? Same as the person above?

  • I also have been diagnosed with a 9cm mass in my spleen. NO SYMPTOMS-EVER!Surgeons have assured me it is not life-threatening and could possibly be a result of an accident (they always ask if I have ever been in a car accident-NO). No real reason it is there, it just is. Found during a CT scan for kidney stones.

  • What are they doing about it? Are they going to leave it. My doctor said to watch it, I think it is strange however - no blood work has ever been done and I just don't want something to be wrong.
