Swollen Lymph Nodes

This has going on for awhile now, but I haven't thought that seriously about it until now. The glands in my armpits are tender a lot of the times, and the nodes under my collarbone are tender, not incredibley painful, just tender. Also, this has happened twice, but on the right side of my groin my lymph node feels like a small hard bean. I feel like my lymph nodes are most tender on my right side. The lymph node under my chin also feels like a small hard bean.

Does anyone know what this could indicate?

Thanks a lot,

  • Caitlin,Have you seen a doctor? I have NHL. (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma) The symptoms are similar. Tell him everything you are experiencing, even it it seems unrelated. While my cancer is advanced (stage 4) and is progressing to the point that I am beginning chemo next week, it is low grade and still doesn't show up on my blood work. I found mine in a routine mammogram. A PET scan could rule this out completely. My GP is still amazed he didn't spot it. I had a complete physical two months before this was found. According to my oncologist, I may have had it for five years already.Don't make my mistake.Take care. Cindy
