Hi, i am new to this forum and have just registered for asking this:
i am a 20 year old male. the area near my groin (on the sides of my groin, not near the ***** but in the area between the leg and the groin) both sides are swollen. its been about 2-3 years now. I recently learned about lymph nodes and how if they get swollen, there maybe a chance of cancer.
the area is swollen. its grayish, there is no pain but if i do exercise or sweat a lot, i get rashes almost immediatly and they burn. Not red rashes, but its like if the skin stretches the gray swollen skin kind of tears and if water falls on it while taking bath it burns.
I am a fat/obese (not obese just fat i guess). i had got it checked once about a year back and the doctor had examined the area roughly... not properly just casually and he had told its just fat in that area and there was nothing to worry about. but after reading about swollen lymph nodes, i fear they maybe symptoms of swollen lymph and it maybe be cancer... i'm sorry i'm just scared i guess.
when i examine it it feels more like swollen skin rather than a swollen gland. any idea if it may just be some infection or is swollen area, no pain and itchiness symptoms of cancer??
and if it looks serious and i should get it checked
