I'm a healthy 40-year old male. Recently, I had my physicial exam, including a CT. CT spotted a 2-cm nodule in my spleen. The physician recommended to follow up in 2 month. I dont want to wait to find out. I read about the needle aspiration of the spleen to determine if it is benign or malignant. However, the risk of this needle aspiration procedure is bleeding. Is there any blood test that screens for tumor markers of the spleen ? What other tests can I do to rule out that the spleen nodule is malignant ? I am anxious to find out. Please let me know if you have any info on spleen nodule. Thank you very much..Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
